• A compelling, well-structured story about a real-life couple

• Engaging details (first meetings, funny quirks, obstacles overcome)

• A clear beginning, middle, and end (love stories don’t have to be fairy tales, but they should take us on a journey!)

• Emotionally impactful moments (whether they’re romantic, humorous, or bittersweet)

• A strong closing statement about the love story’s meaning or legacy
